Since December 2011, the Association and the Centre have been engaged in a long-term partnership in the field of humanitarian surgery. Under this agreement, the Association has undertaken to contribute an annual sum of 30,000 € for three years, enabling the Centre to carry out 3 to 5 surgical operations each year for patients from less privileged countries, which they cannot benefit from in their country of origin.
Since the establishment of this partnership, more than twenty patients, mainly children and young people, have been treated or operated on at the Centre for cardio-thoracic or vascular pathology.
